Januarius MMX Bassist Ahazu has left Immolith to pursue his own black metal art. His replacement is Damien formerly of the NJ based Death/Thrash Metal band Coffin. The band has postponed live rituals to finish the writing and recording of the debut full-length Storm Dragon, still scheduled for a Spring MMX release.

December MMIX The band continues its live assaults that had begun in November as they prepare to take part in the Black XXXmas Black Metal Fest alongside comrades in Black Witchery, Engorge, Typhus and Krieg. Gragoth of Luciferium War Graphics has been commissioned to begin artwork for the planned 2010 release of Storm Dragon. We've also been in talks with artist Chris Moyen to begin work shortly on a t-shirt and or a 7 inch vinyl release that will accompany the full length in 2010.

October MMIX The first run of Hymns to the Countess CD have been sold out. We've decided to press additional CD's with all four songs remastered. The remasterd version can now be heard online, and is available from our Merchandise shop. We've started recording "Raise the Dead," a cover version Bathory's classic track from their first LP. This will be the first track to incorporate the work of Prolixus. We will be performing our blackened rites on stage for the first time November, 14. We will open for Deceased in Allentown, PA.

September MMIX Second guitarist, Prolixus has officially joined the band. The Black Metal Fest with Kult ov Azazel and The Stone has been pushed back until Feb. of 2010 to allow time for The Stone to secure thier travel arrangements.

Augustus MMIX The Band's logo has been nominated as one of the top ten logos in Black Metal History, by Mark Riddick in Terrorizer's Secret History of Black Metal issue. The Slaughter the Legions T-Shirt is now available for shipping worldwide. The band continues to write for the upcoming full length Storm Dragon. There is a renewed emphasis in rehearsals as we prepare for our upcoming live ritual on Nov. 21st at the first annual East Coast Black Metal Fest that Isiamon has been involved in establishing with the well coordinated efforts of Bizrentertainment and Diabolist Cult Services. Plans have been laid to incorporate a second guitarist in the line-up for any and all live dates that the band may consider booking, and we look forward to announcing that guitarist soon.

Julius MMIX CD EP RELEASE July 20th.The CD version of the EP will be available July 20th, 2009. The band has moved ahead and pressed this version of the EP under Isiamon's banner of Carrion Crawler Records. We have nothing but respect for Ziekte-NL, but feel the decision for the band to press the CD themselves was in the best interest of all involved. The CD version of the EP will include all 3 originals as well as the bonus track, the cover version of Venom's Countess Bathory. Also included with a purchase of the CD will be an 11x17 uncensored version of the CD cover, and a 5x3 sticker of the band's logo.

of the cover.

Maius MMIX Immolith has agreed to a deal to become one with the Black Legions of Dutch Label Ziekte-NL. The Hymns to the Countess EP/MCD will be realized through this label. This sacrifice will contain 4 tracks, Hymns to the Countess, The Ghost Tower of Inverness, Slaughter of Legions, and Venom's Countess Bathory . We look forward to unleashing this destructive rite in the coming weeks!
